Jan and Jeff Ausfahl worked behind the scenes of Broadway and film musicals in New York City. Then they moved to the hills of Pennsylvania. Jeff replaced his fancy jazz guitar with a banjo. Jan stopped using city-slicker words and picked up the washboard.
